As a national 5A-level scenic area, the whole area is a beautiful landscape painting. Chaya Mountain has a deep connection with the culture of Journey to the West. Wu Cheng'en once lived in Chaya Mountain and wrote Journey to the West. There are many attractions related to the culture of Journey to the West in the scenic area, such as the Stone Monkey Courtyard, Black Wind Cave, and Journey to the West Sculpture Park.

⏱️Hours:
March to December: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, last entry at 5:00 pm
December to March: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, last entry at 4:00 pm

🔖Tickets: CNY 65 for adults; free for children 1.4 m and under and seniors 60 and over; half price for teachers and students.

🔖Package: CNY 165 for adults, CNY 125 for students, including some activities, making it easier to go up and down the mountain.

🚗Transportation: Drive to Chaya Mountain South Gate Parking Lot. There are no mountain roads on the way, so you won't get carsick. The parking lot is large with plenty of parking spaces. Parking fee is CNY 10. ETC is supported, which is very convenient.

🚌Sightseeing bus: CNY 13 for a single trip. There are stops at the East Gate, South Gate, North Gate, Tianmo Lake, and Pipa Lake.

🏠Dining and accommodation: You can find dining and accommodation near the South Gate. There are restaurants and hotels at the scenic area exit, and the environment is good.
