Travel Guide to Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area:

Preparation

- Documents: Please bring your ID card. If you are eligible for any discounts, such as students, seniors, and military personnel, please bring the relevant documents, such as your student ID card, senior citizen ID card, or military officer ID card.

- Clothing: Please choose appropriate clothing according to the season. In summer, please pay attention to sun protection, and in winter, please keep warm and wear comfortable sneakers or hiking shoes.

- Other items: Please prepare sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, umbrellas or raincoats, power banks, and some snacks and water.

Transportation

- Self-driving: From Zhengzhou, you can take the Jinggangao Expressway - Shangnan Expressway - Xuxin Expressway (Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area Station) - Suichang Road - Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area.

- Public transportation: You can first go to Zhumadian City or Suiping County, and then take a bus to Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area.

Ticket Information

- Ticket price: CNY65 per adult ticket, CNY32 per student ticket. Children under 1.4 meters (inclusive) or under 6 years old (inclusive), and seniors over 60 years old (inclusive) are free of charge.

- Package ticket: The package ticket includes the Magic Carpet, Slide, and Sky Drifting. The price is relatively cheaper. For details, please consult the official website of the scenic area.

- Scenic stone route (effortless version): South gate parking lot → South gate entrance → waterwheel group → Westward Journey Cultural Square → Xiumi Lake → Black Wind Cave → Bao Gong Temple → Huaihua Valley → take the Magic Carpet (Huaihua Valley Station to Shihouyuan Station) → Yuntai Mountain Suspension Bridge → Shihouyuan → Yixiantian → Flying Stone → Guanyin Sending Children → Phoenix Terrace → take the cliff slide downhill → Fengshui Ridge → take the sky drift downhill → Adventure Valley Water Park → Adventure Valley Treetop Adventure → Biwa Lake → take the sightseeing bus back to the south gate.

- Canyon leisure route: South gate parking lot → South gate entrance → waterwheel group → Westward Journey Cultural Square → South gate sightseeing station, take a sightseeing bus to Tianmo Lake → take a boat → Giant Dragon Looking Back → Wind-driven Stone → Wanshouling → Water Curtain Cave → Yingchou Gorge → Bibo Lake → Fengshui Ridge → take the sky drift downhill → Adventure Valley Water Park → Adventure Valley Treetop Adventure → Biwa Lake → take the sightseeing bus back to the south gate.

Scenic spots recommended

- Scenic stones: There are dolphin out of water, fairy finger, etc., which are in various shapes and lifelike.

- Tianmo Lake: The location of the exterior shooting of "Journey to the West", the lake water is clear, and the surrounding scenery is beautiful.

- Black Wind Cave: The location of the episode of "Journey to the West" in which the black bear monster appears. The cave is winding and mysterious.

Accommodation and food

- Accommodation: There are hotels such as Kunlun Leju Hotel Zhumadian Suiping Branch and many farmhouses around the scenic area.

- Food: We recommend Henan-style cuisine such as spicy soup, stewed noodles, and baked flatbread.
