Suncheon Bay Wetland is a world-famous eco-tourism site, and the golden landscape of the reed field and S-shaped waterway is impressive. If you visit around sunset, you can enjoy a truly cinematic scene as the sunset falls over the reed field. In particular, since it is connected to the Suncheon Bay National Garden, there is plenty to see even if you stay for half a day or more. You can take a walking trail or shuttle to the observatory, and good photo spots are well marked with information boards. It is also famous as a migratory bird destination, so you can see rare migratory birds such as cranes in the winter. It is educational and leisurely enough to be recommended as a family trip with children. It is especially crowded during the fall season when the reed festival is held, so we recommend visiting early. There are many things to see nearby, such as the Suncheon Drama Set and Nakan-eupseong Fortress, so it is a great course for a trip to Namhae.
