Monkasel- Surabaya submarine

This is a Russian submarine that used to participate in the Indonesian Navy in the Indonesian Navy's Eastern Division.
The ticket is quite cheap , 15000rp per person and it is worth the visit.
When you get inside there are a couple of people , they are not guides but you can ask information about the submarine and they will give you lots of information.
I recommend you to get a translator app as many explanation in the different section of the submarine are not translated.
You can stay inside and explore as much as you can so enjoy discovering the way the crew used to sleep, eat, where the torpedos were located etc.
The exterior of the submarine is reconstructed with fiberglass and it is very well maintain.
