Koh Lamphu - Surat Thani

Koh Lamphu is an island located in the middle of the Tapi River and is government property. Previously, Surat Thani province had granted a concession to a private entity to build bungalows and a restaurant on the island. However, after the concession period ended, the province developed the area into a public park. The park's beautiful environment makes it an ideal spot for relaxation. Residents of Surat Thani frequently visit this area, as it features activity and sports grounds conveniently located near the city center. Additionally, Koh Lamphu offers scenic views of the Tapi River embankment and Surat Thani city.
