Spring Serenity at Takashima Castle, Suwa 🌸🏰

High on my list of favorite places in Suwa, Nagano is the peaceful Takashima Castle, which I visited recently on April 17, 2025. It was a crisp spring morning around 8 AM when I took these pictures, and it felt like the perfect time to capture the beauty of the castle grounds. 🏰 The air was cool and refreshing, and everything around was so calm—just the kind of peaceful escape I needed. 🌸

I’m loving the experience of living here in Suwa, where the rhythm of the seasons flows so naturally. In the summer, I get to enjoy the thermal waters of the hot springs, which is such a relaxing treat after a day of sightseeing. 🛀 Plus, the town’s charm really shines through in the way people greet you with warmth and kindness. The residents here are so down-to-earth, making it feel like a true home. 🌿

If you're into quiet, scenic spots with a little bit of history, Takashima Castle and Suwa are definitely worth visiting. 🌄
