Suwa City Takashima Castle

Takashima Castle, also known as Suwa's floating castle or Shimazaki Castle. It is one of the three major lake towns in Japan. From JR Kamisuwa Station, it takes about 10 minutes on foot to reach the outskirts of Takashima Castle. Takashima Castle's castle tower was rebuilt. The stone walls of the Honmaru are all planted with cherry trees. But since we came here in May, the flowers are not in bloom yet. It’s worth the trip to stroll through Takashima Park and experience and explore history!
