[Suzhou Panmen] The amphibious gate is a typical Chinese building

Panmen Scenic Area was built in 514 BC as an amphibious gate to protect Suzhou Castle, and the current gate was also built in 1351. It is located in the southwest of Suzhou Castle. The curved roof symbolizes Chineseness. The surrounding area has been developed as a park.

Access: 10 minutes walk from Nanmen Station on Suzhou Subway Line 4

Opening hours: 8:30am - 8:30pm

Admission fee: 40 yuan
