A rare "banmon" gate where both the water gate and land gate remain intact

Panmen (Panmen), a popular tourist attraction in Suzhou, is located in the southwest corner of Suzhou Ancient City. It's a rare ancient city gate in China, with both the water gate and the land gate remaining intact.

I spotted a black swan in a pond in the scenic area inside the river! I was thinking how cute it was, and as I got close to take a photo, it pecked my phone. Luckily, I didn't drop it! 😅

I also tried climbing the wooden tower. The steep, narrow stairs were a bit scary, but the view was amazing!

By the way, if you buy a paper admission ticket (40 NTD) at the ticket counter at the entrance, you can use it as a 40 NTD voucher at restaurants and teahouses within the scenic area. Tickets purchased online do not qualify, so I recommend purchasing one at the entrance!
