Suzhou Tourist Attractions @ Tiger Hill

Huqiu is a famous scenic spot in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. It is also known as Haiyong Mountain, Haiyong Peak and Hufu. It has the reputation of "the first scenic spot in Wuzhong". Throughout the scenic area, along the mountain road, you can enjoy the Eighteen Scenic Spots of Tiger Hill, including "Broken Beam Hall", "Hanhan Spring", "Sword Testing Stone", "Zhenniang Tomb", "Thousand People Stone", "Second Pavilion", "Wuxian Hall", "Third Spring", "Yunyan Zen Temple Buddha Hall", "Zhishuang Pavilion", "Pingyuan Hall", "Bubo Boat", "Lanyue Pavilion", "Fifty-three Pilgrimages" and "Quyan Tower". Each scene has a very profound legend and story.

The two most famous historical sites in Huqiu are the "Huqiu Yunyan Temple Pagoda" (also known as the "Huqiu Pagoda"), the first leaning pagoda in China, and the "Jianchi" where the tomb of King Helu of Wu is said to be located. I highly recommend taking the free guided tour at the visitor center, where you can listen to historical stories, see all the attractions and the best photo locations.
