Pingjiang Road

Pingjiang Road in Suzhou, China, is an old street that has preserved its ancient charm and uniqueness. It's a place that we really like. Throughout the area, there are temples, historical sites, and lovely shops where you can pay with Alipay.
There are many shops where you can rent traditional Chinese costumes, and you can choose whichever one you prefer.
It is recommended to avoid Chinese holidays. We went during a holiday, and it was extremely crowded, with hardly any space at all. In the evening, it tends to get even more crowded.
Traveling from Shanghai: Take the high-speed train to Suzhou Station, which takes 25 minutes, and then continue by Metro.
The Metro does not accept Alipay, so be sure to bring cash. Get off at Lindunlu Station.
