Come to Suzhou to experience the romance of the Jiangnan water town! This route takes you to the most photogenic ancient streets and gardens, and also hides some niche, high-appearance-value dessert shops. Every snap is a masterpiece~

🚶Recommended One-Day Itinerary:
【Morning】
📍Pingjiang Road Historic District (8:30-10:30)
Fewer people in the morning, perfect for photos! The bluestone paths with white walls and black tiles, recommended check-in spots:
✔️Window seats at Maokong Bookstore
✔️The riverside arch bridge (location p2)
✔️The "Suzhou" character internet-famous wall (queue required)
🍵On the way, try the old brand: Taohuayuanji’s red bean paste with small glutinous rice balls

📍Yingshi Tea & Dessert (10:45-11:30)
A niche dessert shop hidden in an alley near Pingjiang Road (No. 31 Niujia Alley, Gusu District), the floor-to-ceiling window tea seats on p4 are perfect for photos! Recommended:

⚠️Minimum spend 58 RMB/person. Best to visit in the morning for good lighting.

【Afternoon】
📍Canglang Pavilion (13:30-15:00)
Less crowded than the Humble Administrator’s Garden! A garden version of "Inception" vibe, the covered corridors and rockeries on p10-14 have great layering. Ticket 20 RMB, remember to bring your student ID for half price.

📍Qili Shantang Street (16:00-18:30)
Most beautiful at dusk when the lights come on! Save these photo spots:

🥟Food recommendation: Xin Zhen Yuan Shengjian (Shantang Street branch)

📍Jinji Lake Wind Park (19:00-20:00)
A modern lakeside park (Xinggang Street in the park area), the white spiral staircase on p15 and the reed clusters on p17 are great for photos. Across the lake is the Gate to the East.

📌Useful Tips:
1️⃣Wear solid/light-colored clothes for better photos
2️⃣It’s recommended to take taxis between Pingjiang Road and Shantang Street due to parking difficulties
3️⃣Bring an umbrella in spring! Suzhou often has showers
4️⃣For boat rides, choose the Shantang Street night cruise (after 18:00)
