On our last morning in Suzhou, we visited the Suzhou Museum.
I can't stress this enough:
Buy your tickets online!

You absolutely must buy your tickets online in advance!

We originally arrived a day earlier, thinking we could buy tickets on the spot since it was free. However, upon arrival, we discovered that there were crowd control measures in place, and all the free admission tickets for the entire week were sold out.
In the end, to get in, we had to buy the most expensive ticket, which included access to all special exhibitions.

Designed by the renowned architect I.M. Pei, the Suzhou Museum skillfully blends elements of Suzhou's classical gardens with modern design concepts, creating a sanctuary of art that blends modernity and tradition.

Exhibitions cover a wide range of Suzhou's history, culture, and art, allowing us to delve into the city's unique charm.
The museum's courtyards and waterscapes are particularly beautiful and are truly photo-worthy.
