If you're a photography enthusiast, Ouyuan garden is a dream. The design is full of "framed scenery," with beautifully crafted windows and doorways that perfectly frame the landscapes within. I visited in the spring, and the pink and white magnolia blossoms were simply breathtaking against the traditional Suzhou architecture. The famous yellow stone rockery in the eastern garden is a masterpiece and provides an excellent backdrop. Practical tip: to get the best photos and avoid crowds, try to visit early in the morning, especially during the peak flowering season.
