Transportation: It's a 20-minute taxi ride (approximately 25 won) from Suzhou Station, or a 15-minute walk from Beiji Station on Subway Line 4. Weekday admission is 80 won for adults and 40 won for discounted tickets (students/senior citizens). Advance reservations are required during the Golden Week holiday period.
Must-see attractions include the floating pavilion at Xiangzhou, the pond view at Yuanxiangdang, and the harmony of the red bridge and pond at Soifenghong. The garden is particularly beautiful during the cherry blossoms in spring and the autumn foliage.
Please note: food and drinks are prohibited in the garden, and the walking paths are slippery and rocky, so wearing comfortable shoes is essential. For culinary delights, we recommend the local Suzhou dishes near the garden: steamed trout, jeongabokgwa, and chilheuk porridge.
The Humble Administrator's Garden is one of China's four great gardens. Stepping inside, you'll feel as if time has stopped, a treasure of the West.
