I have to say, Panmen Scenic Area is truly a treasure check-in spot in Suzhou. It features a 2,500-year-old water and land city gate and Chinese-style garden scenery perfect for photos. I recommend visiting in the evening; the golden sunset shining on the ancient city walls is especially beautiful~

1️⃣ Ruiguang Pagoda: Panmen landmark, best to shoot from across the lake, the pagoda’s reflection is very poetic
2️⃣ Water and Land City Gate: The only remaining water and land parallel city gate in the country, the city walls are great for photos
3️⃣ Renmin Bridge: Stand on the bridge to watch the sunset, the water sparkles with golden light
4️⃣ Lakeside Corridor: Perfect for taking photos in Hanfu, full of Chinese atmosphere

Newly discovered treasure photo spot 👉 The ginkgo forest inside the scenic area! The golden ginkgo leaves in autumn paired with ancient buildings are perfect for couple photos. On the day we visited, we happened to see a couple strolling under the ginkgo trees, the scene was super romantic~

✨Tips
◾️It’s recommended to enter after 4 PM when the light is softer and photos come out better
◾️The scenic area is not very large, 2-3 hours is enough to explore
◾️Wearing Hanfu or a modernized qipao will make your photos stand out even more
◾️The nearby Panmen Night Market is lively in the evening and worth a visit too
