Suzhou 1 Day Trip Plan

#TravelPlan: A one-day Suzhou itinerary. You can reach Suzhou from Shanghai by high-speed rail in just 30 minutes.

Morning

📍 Xiyuan Temple, a peaceful ancient temple in the heart of Suzhou. Perfect for praying, making merit, and strolling through the temple's beautiful gardens.
🚇 Metro Shilu Station (Line 2), then a 10-minute walk.

Morning to Afternoon

📍 Pingjiang Road, a charming ancient canal-side street. You can rent Chinese clothing to stroll around, take photos at the beautiful corners of the ancient city, and take a boat cruise along the canal. We spent the most time here.
🚇 Metro Xi Qian Jie Station (Line 1), just a few minutes' walk to the entrance.

Evening

📍 Shantang Street, another old street in Suzhou, bustles at night with restaurants and street food vendors, offering dishes like Suzhou soup dumplings, char siu (pork cutlet), soy milk, and many other delicious local snacks. With the romantic atmosphere of the lights reflecting off the water, it's truly a sight to behold.
