Sydney Opera House, Australia's Most Famous Landmark

Sydney Opera House, Australia's most famous landmark, is a must-visit spot for first-time visitors to Sydney! I walked from my hotel through the Royal Botanic Garden, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way. As I turned a corner, I was greeted by the sight of the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. The white shell-like domes of the Opera House are truly eye-catching!

The architecture of the Sydney Opera House is quite unique, designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon. The design was inspired by elements of nature, such as shells, oranges, and palm leaves. The domes resemble three overlapping shell structures with perfect curved lines. Not only is it visually stunning, but it also has excellent acoustic properties that can perfectly diffuse sound.

Inside the Opera House, there are various multi-functional performance halls. While the main hall is free to enter, you need to book a guided tour to visit the interior, and photography is not allowed inside, so you have to experience it in person! Alternatively, you can attend a performance to truly appreciate the magnificence of the Sydney Opera House!

The Sydney Opera House has two main halls. The largest is the Concert Hall, and the second largest is the Opera Theatre. There are also restaurants and cafes inside. If you're just there for a quick visit, you can enjoy afternoon tea while admiring the Harbour Bridge and basking in the warm sunshine of the Southern Hemisphere.
