Over 75% of the content is free, including the entirely free Vivid Light Walk, where visitors can enjoy animation and projection technology. New festival landmarks include the Museum of Sydney, The Bond in Barangaroo, and Challis House in Martin Place.

City Recital Hall will welcome German electronic music pioneer Tangerine Dream and Soccer Mommy. Vivid LIVE at the Sydney Opera House brings together more than 50 international and Australian cutting-edge and legendary artists such as Anohni and The Johnsons and Beth Gibbons. In addition, Netflix's Stranger Things: The Immersive Experience will premiere at Luna Park Sydney.
🚌: During the event, Sydney's public transportation will increase its frequency, but with many road closures and parking restrictions, it is recommended to give priority to public transportation, such as trains, ferries, or buses, and prepare an Opal card in advance or use a contactless payment bank card or device.
🥙🍻🍽: International celebrity chef Nigella Lawson will host three exclusive dinners in the Muru Giligu tunnel. The "Vivid Fire Kitchen" and "Chef Series" events will also return, highlighting the special cuisine of New South Wales.
