Tai'an is famous for Mount Tai. It is a landscape city with both natural wonders and cultural heritage, suitable for a 1–2 day in-depth tour.
Must-see attractions:
1. Mount Tai: The first of the Five Great Mountains. It is recommended to climb at night to watch the sunrise (the Red Gate route is a classic), or take the cable car to easily reach the top and feel the magnificence of "I shall be the summit".
2. Dai Temple: The starting point of Mount Tai and the place where emperors of past dynasties held their Fengshan ceremonies. Ancient cypresses tower into the sky, and steles stand in great numbers. It can be called a "small Forbidden City."
3. Tai'an West Lake: A free wetland park with a romantic musical fountain at night, it is the first choice for locals to relax.
4. Mount Tai Xiucheng: A retro old street + the live-action performance of "Railway Guerrilla," suitable for family trips.
Food recommendations:
Mount Tai Tofu Feast: Try the Sanmei Tofu (Chinese cabbage, tofu, and water) at "Lucai Gen," a century-old restaurant.
Night Market Snacks: Fried skewers in the Old County Office Courtyard, and meat soup with fried bread sticks, full of local flavor.
Niche choices:
Puzhao Temple: A quiet Buddhist temple at the foot of Mount Tai, where Feng Yuxiang once lived in seclusion.
Caishi Creek: A summer resort with clear streams where you can play in the water.
Tips: Spring and fall are the best seasons (avoid the rainy season). Prepare light clothing for mountain climbing. There is a direct bus from the high-speed rail station to the scenic spot. Can be combined with
