Taicang In-depth One-day Tour! Check out those underrated niche attractions!

Suzhou to Taicang only takes 1h‼️
If you haven't been here yet, I can only say it's really a pity!
-
Today, we will check out some niche attractions and see what treasures Taicang has to offer⁉️
Route: No need to retrace your steps! I've done the homework✅
Taicang Museum→Song Wenzhi Art Museum→'International Wharf' Theme Art Museum→Wang Xijue's Former Residence→Nanyuan
First stop: Taicang Museum
This place is really cool! As soon as you enter, you can see two big ships. I'm very curious about how they were moved into the museum?
It is said that these are wooden ships used by Zheng He during his voyages to the West. You can take photos and check in, and there are some interactive game experiences, but be careful not to damage the ship's body~
The museum is divided into one underground floor and four above-ground floors. Each exhibition hall is very interesting and very suitable for children. You can spend a whole day here!

Second stop: Song Wenzhi Art Museum (Taicang Celebrity Museum)
I only found out about this art museum after doing some research. The museum is not very large and is very quiet. The exhibits cover 115 celebrities from Taicang from the Song Dynasty to the present, including important works such as 'Seeking Poems in the Pine Forest', 'Great Changes in Mountains and Rivers', and 'Chairman Mao's Former Residence in Shaoshan'. These works represent the artistic achievements of Mr. Song Wenzhi in various periods.

Third stop: 'International Wharf' Theme Art Museum
This is the anchoring point for the seven voyages of the Ming Dynasty navigator Zheng He, known as the 'International Wharf'.
The museum has two floors and is built in the style of the Republic of China. It's really suitable for taking photos and checking in. There is a folded-ear cat in the museum, which is very cute.

Fourth stop: Wang Xijue's Former Residence
I met a local friend who said it was her first time here too. She had passed by many times but never came in to visit.
It's really quiet inside, but the courtyard is very large, and the architecture is designed like a garden. After walking around, I found that there are more than twenty historical steles embedded in the walls of the ancestral hall and courtyard corridors. Such a treasure of a spot really needs to be checked in!

Last stop, Nanyuan
Today, we checked in for the night tour of Nanyuan.
The main feature is off-peak travel. Come and see the wonderful performances by the teachers.
The night tour opens at 6:30 PM, and the performances start at 7 PM.
Following the guide, you can easily learn about the layout and historical background of each spot.
The performances by the teachers are also wonderful. Every step of the Kun dance seems like the next moment they will fly to the moon. The Kunqu opera 'The Peony Pavilion' is a must-listen. Watching it from across the river, the immersive experience is really fantastic!
⚠️Activity time is every Friday and Saturday from 18:30 to 21:30. Don't miss out!
