Taichung Second Market is a small market located near the Taichung Second Market is conveniently located near Taichung train station. This place is just like the daytime version of the night markets that we normally see, as they have many food stalls, apart from the wet market that sells fresh produce.

Go for the popular stalls that attract long queues, such as the stalls selling braised pork rice. We went to a stall for lunch known for their noodles that come with their homemade peanut sauce, together with their soup with various types of oden in it. We also tried their red tea that only costs a few dollars for a big cup of refreshing classic red tea. The red tea stall also allows you to select red tea with other toppings for additional cost.
