Highlights: The HuangXi Academy in Tai Chung is One of the best historical academies hundred years ago. It has beautiful old architecture showcasing traditional Chinese schooling environment. It is a typical academy building during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty.

There was an academy of this size during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. It should have been a very prosperous area during that period. Although it was subsequently renovated, it was still quite well preserved.

I would also want to visit heritage buildings in Hong Kong which can provide an opportunity to step back in time and appreciate the craftsmanship of earlier eras.
