The facility is located within the Ming Tai campus, making it a unique location. In the last century, after a famous member of the Lin family passed the imperial examination, he renovated the garden on a large scale to show gratitude to his mother, Madam Luo, for raising him. He named it 'Laiyuan' after the story of Lao Lai Zi entertaining his parents with colorful clothes. The architecture is a harmonious blend of Chinese and Western styles, and the pond and surrounding landscaping are beautiful. It is one of the attractions of the Wufeng Lin Family Mansion and Garden. If you are driving, you can park your vehicle for free inside the campus. It is worth visiting, although the park is not very large and can be toured quickly. You can also plan to spend half a day visiting other related attractions.
