Nostalgic Fireworks of the Glorious Years, Exhibition Space at Shuijiaoshe Cultural Park

One of the three main exhibition halls at Tainan Shuijiaoshe Cultural Park, the 'Exhibition Space' is a quaint Japanese-style building with mud walls and wooden floors. It was formerly used as an Air Force dormitory and now showcases the exhibition 'Nostalgic Fireworks of the Glorious Years.'

Rather than a historical artifact exhibition, it is more like a creative drama based on the oral history and field research of the Shuijiaoshe military dependents' village, with the exhibition space serving as the stage for the performance.

The space itself is beautiful, with a Japanese-style layout and wooden floors that creak as you walk. The wooden lattice glass windows and doors allow light to filter in, creating a serene and leisurely atmosphere.

The room is filled with props and photos from the drama, the most beautiful of which are the vintage bar with stained glass and the TV-like seats, combining modern and retro designs.

Although the exhibition area is not large, it is perfect for taking photos and reminiscing about the glorious era of Shuijiaoshe. It is currently open for free, and it is worth a visit. On weekends, you might even find a lively market to explore.
