When I was a child and grew up in Tianjin, I loved the city of Tianjin, and even more so the culture and Haihe River. Every holiday, I want to come to Tianjin to see it. On the last day of the National Day holiday this year, I came.
"Tianjin Guard at the Lower End of the Nine Rivers", Tianjin is located at the lower end of the Nine Rivers, with dense rivers and canals, and water is the source of life for this city. The Haihe River that runs through Tianjin is one of the seven major rivers in China. The total length of the Haihe River basin is 1,100 kilometers. This is a coincidence with Tianjin's 11 million population. The people of Tianjin proudly call Haihe the mother river. It meanders through the city center with a total length of 72 kilometers. It records the 600-year history of Tianjin and gave birth to Tianjin’s modern civilization.
In Tianjin, you can feel more of a kind of tenderness. When you go to Tianjin, you don’t have to go to the Five Avenues to see the Western architecture, but you must take a walk along the Haihe River. Especially from the mouth of the Sancha River and Jingang Bridge along the right bank of the Haihe River downstream, walk along the Haihe River and look at the European-style buildings on the other side. A ship sailed across the water with its whistle blowing. The sun shone down and the water surface was filled with golden waves, as if time had stopped. Quiet and comfortable, it made me feel like I was on the banks of the Seine.
