This place was recommended to me by a local friend. I've never been able to make it during business hours, but work forced me to come for dinner this time.
I simply ordered a plate of red oil wontons for $60 each, and also cut up some braised meats for dinner. The place isn't large, but it's very clean, with dedicated areas for takeout, sauces, and the menu. To come in, you first order your order, then pick up your braised meat and stamp your table number on the plate. However, since it was new and there was only one other table, the owner just took care of it.
The red oil wontons had a firm texture and a spicy kick, which was quite good. The braised meats were a must-order. The entire plate was neatly cut, and they looked great. The dried tofu was sliced very thinly, and the holes in each slice were soaked up with the juice, making it very fragrant. The braised egg was a bit firm, but the braised egg was thoroughly cooked. The meat slices were also sliced very thinly, with a slightly chewy texture, and the chili peppers were really good.
