The Tainan City Art Museum next to the Tainan District Court

The art gallery is located in the Central and Western District of Tainan City
It is the only art gallery in Taiwan with scientific 🧪 research and restoration paintings. It also has a multi-purpose theater, a children's 🧒 art center, an artist's room and a fine art science research center
The museum will not officially open until January 2019
We were lucky enough to visit this brand new art gallery before the pandemic
The art gallery is divided into 1 and 2 pavilions
The two buildings are contemporary buildings designed and constructed by the former Tainan Police Department (statutory monuments) and jointly designed and constructed by Shikiyoung Architects and the Japanese Banshio Architectural Design Office, respectively. The area where the two museums are located has a profound cultural heritage
