The Grand Hotel Taipei is a palace-style building, facing the Keelung River in front, Yangming Mountain in the back, Songshan Mountain in the east, Tamsui River in the west, with mountains behind it⛰️ and the sea in front🌊. It is a great Feng Shui location! It has received many political figures in history and is well worth staying at.
The hotel has red pillars and golden tiles, a magnificent and classical atmosphere, and the beauty of oriental art. It is definitely one of Taipei's landmarks.
The room type we stayed in this time is called Qilin Room, which has a terrace with a view of the city. The terrace connecting the other rooms in the front and back is a very long palace garden, which is very distinctive.
Four bottles of distilled water with the Grand Hotel label are provided in the room. If you need to refill, you will have to pay. The hotel swimming pool 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️🏊 needs to take the free shuttle golf cart 🛺 to get there.
Transportation: There is a free shuttle bus from Jiantan MRT Station to the hotel.
