I originally planned to go to Taipei 101 Observation Deck when I came to Taipei, but after thinking about it, there was nothing to see when I went up there since I was already on 101. I heard that there is an observation deck on Elephant Mountain where I can take pictures of 101, so I decided to go to Elephant Mountain to take pictures.

You can use the map to navigate the Elephant Mountain Trail to reach the entrance. Elephant Mountain is not very high, and it takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to the observation deck. From the observation deck, you can overlook Taipei and 101 from a distance. Once you climb up, you will know that you will not regret it. In order to take pictures of night and day scenes, I climbed twice. I really worked hard to take pictures.

The observation deck is only half of the mountain, and the area is not large. In fact, you can go up again, but I was really tired and didn't go up. At the observation deck, you can see tourists from all over the world, carrying various photographic equipment, tripods, SLRs, micro single phones, etc. It is very suitable for taking selfies, photos of others, and photos of scenery.

After coming down from Xiangshan, I felt hot and tired. The best place to go is to go shopping and eat in the air-conditioned Xinyi shopping district below Taipei 101. There are department stores under Taipei 101. You can find all the brands you want, and you can get snacks and meals. It's really super happy!
