Palais de Chine Hotel, Taipei

I have been staying at this hotel for several years now, and I never really thought about leaving a review until my most recent trip to Taiwan. During my stay in Taipei, I stayed at two different hotels, which really allowed for a comparison. The other one just doesn't compare!

The Palais de Chine is far superior to any other palace I've stayed at. From the bell tower people to the front desk and housekeeping staff, the service provided by the staff was outstanding! During my few days here, I was greeted by my name. A special shout-out to the bell girl Ori, who consistently provided me with the best customer service—from helping me find my way to the people I needed to see, offering me an umbrella on a rainy day, to helping me with my many bags after shopping.

The hotel is beautifully decorated with many special art pieces and sculptures!

The location is amazing, just steps away from the bus terminal and Taipei Main Station, where you can take the Taiwan High-Speed Rail, Taipei MRT, and Taoyuan MRT! Did I mention it's also next to a shopping mall with a variety of restaurants to dine in~!

The hotel's buffet breakfast offers a lot of traditional Taiwanese delicacies—my favorite might be the rice milk and cinnamon rolls!

If you're lucky enough to book at the high-end Guangzhou restaurant le palais on the 17th floor, the duck is absolutely delicious!

I highly recommend staying here during your next visit to Taiwan/Taipei!
