◆My plan◆

8:52 [Ziqiang] Depart Taipei in a reserved seat
9:28 Arrive at Ruifang Station!
10:05 Depart Ruifang Station
10:32 Arrive at Shifen [Sightseeing except for the waterfall]
12:39 Depart Shifen
13:06 Arrive at Ruifang Station
13:29 Depart Ruifang Station
13:45 Arrive at Jiufen Old Street bus stop

There was about a 20 minute wait at Ruifang Station, so I walked around the town.
There are many shops lined up, such as rare fish and vegetables, and food walking, and it's very fun just to walk around 💛

My plan was to arrive in Jiufen a little early, so I walked around and had tea at a teahouse, but I had a little time to kill before the lanterns were lit...

If you like looking at souvenirs for a long time, this might be just right!

◆Directions◆

[Taipei Station to Shifen]

①Take the Taiwan Railway to Ruifang Station
The Yilan Line train runs frequently, and the fare to Ruifang Station is about 50 to 70 NTD

②Pingxi Line [Shifen ←→ Ruifang]
Get off at Ruifang Station
Transfer to the Pingxi Line
The Pingxi Line is a local line with attractive places other than Shifen, and has a laid-back atmosphere
The Pingxi Line only runs once an hour, so be sure to check the timetable in advance!

③ Bus from Ruifang Station
From the bus stop on the map to Jiufen Old Street 🏮
If all goes well, it takes about 15 minutes by bus, but there may be traffic jams, so it's best to leave with plenty of time ◎
It's a pretty mountainous road, so if you get car sick easily, you'll need motion sickness medication!

Even if you're on a day trip, you can take your time with this plan!
If you're in good shape, you'll have enough time to return to Taipei and go to the night market
