Beautiful Miscanthus in Yangmingshan

Yangmingshan National Park, located in northern Taiwan near Taipei, is renowned for its beautiful scenery and diverse flora, including the stunning miscanthus grass. Miscanthus, a tall and graceful grass, becomes particularly prominent during autumn. The best time to see the miscanthus in full bloom is typically from late October to early December. We were fortunate to view miscanthus in full bloom during our visit to Qingtiangang Grassland in December. Qingtiangang is one of the most popular spots for viewing miscanthus as the trail is relatively easy and suitable for hikers of all levels. The expansive grassland offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys covered with miscanthus.
