Features: In 2015, the Fubon Art Museum was designed and supervised by the Fubon Art Foundation, Renzo Piano Building Workshop, and Yao Renxi Dayuan Building Factory. This is the first work of Renzo Piano Building Workshop in Taiwan.
Renzo Piano is the 20th winner of the Pritzker Prize, the equivalent of the Oscars in the architectural world.
The Fubon Art Museum will open on May 4, 2024, with Fubon Art Foundation CEO Yung Mei-hui as its director. The opening exhibition will be held in collaboration with the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, presenting a special exhibition of Auguste Rodin, "The Essence of Truth: Rodin and the Impressionist Era," as well as works by Sanyu and Yun Gee from the Fubon Art Foundation collection. [5][1] In August of the same year, the museum collaborated with the Kröller-Müller Museum in the Netherlands to launch the special exhibition "Van Gogh: In Search of Light", which lasted until November of the same year.
