The Taipei Miniatures Museum is the first museum in Asia dedicated to contemporary miniature art, housing a vast collection of exquisite miniature works.
1. Transportation:
○ Address: B1, No. 96, Section 1, Jianguo North Road, Zhongshan District, Taipei City.
○ MRT: Take the MRT to Songjiang Nanjing Station, Exit 4, and walk for about 5 minutes.
○ Bus: Take bus routes 298, 505, 668, etc., get off at "Changchun Elementary School" stop, and walk for about 1 minute.
2. Opening Hours: Tuesday to Sunday 10:00-18:00, closed on Mondays (open on national holidays).
3. Ticket Prices: Adult ticket 200 TWD, Concession ticket 160 TWD (students, military police, seniors over 65), Group ticket 180 TWD (groups of 20 or more).
4. Visiting Process:
○ After purchasing tickets, you can watch an introductory video about miniature art in the lobby on the first floor.
○ Then enter the exhibition area and visit each exhibition hall according to the order indicated on the signs.
○ Professional guides are available in the museum to provide explanations, allowing visitors to better understand the creation process and stories behind the miniature works.
5. Exhibit Introduction:
○ The museum houses over 200 miniature artworks from around the world, covering various themes such as architecture, scenes, and figures.
○ Among them, the most famous exhibits include "Rose Mansion," "Buckingham Palace," and "Forbidden City." These works are not only exquisite and detailed but also full of creativity and imagination.
6. Important Notes:
○ Please do not touch the exhibits to avoid damage.
○ Photography is prohibited inside the museum. Please follow relevant regulations if you need to take photos.
○ Please do not talk loudly in the museum and maintain a quiet visiting environment.
