Deep in the Zen Wind, the Quiet Years

#Taipei Itinerary
Today we stayed at the calm and elegant Okura Prestige Taipei Hotel. The view from the window was picturesque and made us feel calm. Head to Fagushan Nongchan Temple, a modern Zen temple located on the banks of the Tamsui River, which creates a tranquil atmosphere with its simple architecture and pool design.
The mirror-like pool beside the main hall is as tranquil as a lake, reflecting the floating clouds and the shadow of the tower. People walking in it will unconsciously slow down their pace. The calligraphy, Zen painting and tea ceremony display spaces in the museum cleanse the soul in a subtle way. Sitting on the steps in the afternoon, quietly watching the ripples in the pond, it seems as if the troubles of the world are disappearing. In the evening, I returned to Okura Kyuwa and immersed myself in the high-rise window view and hot spring bath. I felt that traveling is not just about movement, but also a reflection of the inner self.
