The View From The Top Of Taipei 101, The Best Way to See The City!

Taipei 101 is the ultimate landmark of the city and is famous all around the world for its annual New Year firework display. It also has an amazing viewing area at the top, along with one of the fastest elevators in the world!

You can buy tickets online or at the 4th floor lobby then head to the lifts to rocket to the top! The viewing floor offers 360 degree views of the city and allows you to explore with your eyes instead of your feet.

Highlights are elephant mountain, downtown districts, Songshan airport and the many bridges and highways that snake in the city. You can also view the amazing mass dampener and learn how it helps the building stay stable during earthquakes and typhoons. Super interesting!

There’s a cafe, photo area and of course a gift shop! Worth taking a look as the prices are very reasonable.

As with all viewing areas it gets busy! So head up early to avoid crowds and get the good views
