During my Taipei trip, one of the most unforgettable places I visited was Heart Village in Beitou. Walking through the white archway into this old military dependents' village felt like entering a different time. The preserved houses, each styled from different eras, were filled with retro furniture and personal belongings that told silent stories of those who once lived there.

It’s not just about looking—it’s about feeling. You can sit on old beds, open drawers, or flip through books from the past. The cozy setup, paired with Beitou’s warm atmosphere, made me reflect on how simple life used to be. If you’re in Taipei and love exploring culture and history, this gem is worth every minute.
