Roar-some Dinosaur Exhibits At The Natural History Museum Of Taiwan

Everyone loves dinosaurs and you’ll also love the price of this museum! For less than £1 you can take a look around the Natural History Museum in Taipei, Taiwan - housed in an old bank branch from the Japanese era.


It’s located directly across the road form the Taiwan National museum and can be done on the same ticket if you buy the four museum combo ticket! (Totally worth it)

The museum is focused around a hall of life sized replica skeletons of some the most infamous dinosaurs. It has lots of information in bilingual presentations and also offers audio guides for a small fee. The museum is small but well laid out, with a one way system to tour the exhibits.

The building has been beautifully restored and there’s an exhibit on the banks history and the restoration project to turn it into a museum. They also have a really cool vault experience to show you how the bank stored all its valuables back in the day.

There’s a nice gift shop, cafe and some really helpful staff throughout. Great to do in Taipei especially if you have kids!
