Old Place Observation Platform｜Enjoy a Million-Dollar Urban View with a Leisurely Walk.

Starting from Exit 2 of MRT Jiantan Station, it takes about a 10-minute walk to reach the entrance of Jiantan Qing Mountain Trail. The entrance is located next to the Jiantan Youth Activity Center, where you'll also find a small Earth God Temple.

The trail begins with a series of challenging stairs, which might be a bit strenuous for those who don't exercise regularly. You'll likely break a sweat quickly, but—it's worth it for the view!

The trail offers excellent views, including planes taking off and landing at Songshan Airport, Taipei 101, the cityscape of Taipei, and distant mountain ranges. On a sunny day with blue skies and white clouds, the photos turn out stunning! The scenery combines rich urban layers with tranquil greenery.

✔ You can also start from Exit 3 of MRT Jiantan Station, cross the road, and turn right to enter the trail.
✔ The route is well-marked with signs for "Taipei Grand Trail Section 5."
