Taipei, Taiwan|CHECK inn Select Yangmingshan Hot Spring Hotel

A perfect blend of Baihuang hot springs and a forest retreat.

Located within Yangmingshan National Park, CHECK inn Select Yangmingshan Hot Spring Hotel, formerly known as China Trust Hotel, reopened in 2022. It is one of the rare hot spring hotels in Taipei City that combines Baihuang hot springs with a mountain spring swimming pool. The hotel features gender-separated nude baths using milky Baihuang spring water, known for its smooth texture. The spring is said to share the same source as Zhongshan Hall, which was once a presidential-level bathing spot.

The outdoor swimming pool is filled with natural mountain spring water and surrounded by lush greenery, creating a serene forest retreat. The hotel offers a variety of room types, ranging from classic double rooms to hot spring suites. Some rooms are equipped with bathtubs made of Guanyin stone, allowing guests to enjoy hot spring baths in the privacy of their rooms.

For dining, the "Cang Yue Ge" restaurant serves Chinese-style dishes and individual set meals, while breakfast is offered buffet-style with a wide selection of dishes. Additionally, the hotel features a gym, table tennis, and billiards facilities, making it a great destination for families to relax and unwind.

While the hardware and facilities show signs of aging, with some furniture and bathrooms bearing stains, the warm and friendly service from several senior staff members adds value to the stay. One particularly enthusiastic staff member provides detailed explanations, making guests feel welcomed and cared for.
