During the long holiday, my boyfriend and I decided to stay in Taipei. We wanted to go abroad, but because the air tickets were too expensive, we decided to go to the city for vacation. After searching around, we found the Grand Hi-Lai Hotel in Taipei! In addition to the convenient transportation near the MRT station, the new facilities that just opened not long ago are super attractive - you can smell the "exclusive smell of the new hotel" when you walk into the room. The clean and bright space makes people relax instantly~ The most exciting thing is the rare open-air swimming pool in Taipei! The blue sky is against the poolside lounge chairs, and every shot is a vacation feeling. There is also a gym and sauna next to it. If you are too lazy to go out, staying in the hotel for a whole day is also very fulfilling~

The room design is simple and modern, with floor-to-ceiling windows for excellent lighting. The bathroom space is separated into dry and wet areas and equipped with a bathtub. Taking a hot bath before going to bed is super decompressing! There are a wide variety of drinks in the mini bar. The only small drawback is that the sound insulation is slightly weak, and the corridor sound occasionally comes into the room, but overall, the facilities and services of the new hotel are online. You can enjoy the pseudo-overseas vacation feeling with less than half the budget of going abroad during the long holiday. I want to try their afternoon tea next time!
