Taiwan's Roots, National Taiwan Museum

#July Travel Support Fund

I happened to visit the National Taiwan Museum.

This building, which looks old from the outside, is a historic museum that is over 100 years old.

When I went inside, there were exhibits on Taiwan's nature and history calmly displayed.

It was interesting because various animals and plants that used to live in Taiwan,
and indigenous culture and lifestyles of each era were carefully displayed.

What I especially liked was that it wasn't just about displaying objects,
but it felt like it was quietly telling the story of 'the people and lives that lived on this land'.

Since it was structured in a way that children could easily understand, there were many families visiting.

After finishing the tour, I sat on a park bench in front of the museum,
and my mind felt at ease as the quiet afternoon sunlight blended in.

It was really nice to have such a quiet and warm space in the middle of bustling Taipei.

It's not big or fancy,
but it's a place where you can slowly look into the essence of the island called Taiwan.

If you want to spend a quiet day, it would be really nice to take a leisurely walk here. #Taiwan travel #Taiwan #Taipei travel
