Seven Star Mountain — The Highest Peak in Taipei City

Seven Star Mountain, the highest peak in Taipei City, boasts stunning scenery. Along the trail, there are multiple viewing platforms where visitors can enjoy the surrounding mountain ranges and even catch distant views of Xiaoguanyin Mountain, Zhuzishan, and Qingtiangang. The route also allows for detours to enchanting spots like Dream Lake, Milk Lake, and the alluvial plains. Located in northern Taiwan within Taipei City, Seven Star Mountain is easily accessible by public transportation. From Taipei Main Station, take the MRT Red Line to Jiantan Station, then transfer to bus Red 5 or 260 to Yangmingshan Bus Terminal. From there, switch to the park shuttle bus or bus 108 and get off at the Yangmingshan National Park Management Office. The trail starts from the nursery and is well-marked and easy to navigate, making it suitable for visits year-round.
