Taipei Courtyard by Marriott - Yue Liang Cantonese Cuisine

The restaurant offers a serene and tranquil atmosphere. Guests staying at the hotel can enjoy breakfast at the Yue Liang restaurant on the 8th floor.

Each person is served one main dish along with two dim sum choices. For the two of us, we ordered beef congee with raw egg, seafood noodle soup, siu mai, quinoa pearl meatballs, snow pear stewed with rock sugar, and mango sago. All the dishes were delicious, and the portions were just right. The soup was particularly good, with a rich seafood flavor. The shrimp, scallops, and squid were all excellent. The mango sago was refreshing, sweet but not overly so.

The snow pear stewed with rock sugar included a unique ingredient that looked like green beans but was actually a type of algae, giving it a texture similar to agar jelly. The snow pear was served in small, bite-sized balls that melted in your mouth—absolutely delightful 😋. Overall, the portions were delicate, leaving us about 80% full. The environment was pleasant, and the service was attentive.

Dining time was approximately one hour, with quick service for both food and tea 👍. Taste rating: 5 stars 👍.
