Hotel Royal Nikko Taipei - great access and value for money!

I stayed in a corner suite. If you make a reservation for a premium room or above on the official website, you can use the lounge. The lounge only had drinks and small snacks, but the Taiwanese beer (canned) was good after walking around in the heat.

I also recommend the hotel's original pineapple cake!

The building is old but clean. They spoke a fair amount of Japanese, so it's recommended for first-time travelers.
