Taipei Relaxing Mountain Hiking Trail 🤩

Xiangshan Elephant Mountain is a short hiking trail that takes about 30-40 minutes to climb. We went at 5:00 PM, and it wasn't too dark yet since it was summer. However, it rained intermittently, and there were quite a lot of insects. If you're planning to go, it's recommended to bring insect repellent and a bottle of water to drink along the way.
The view from the top is stunning and worth the effort, even though we didn't get to see the sunset due to the cloudy weather all day (there was a storm passing nearby during our visit).
How to get there:
Take the red MRT line (the same line as Taipei Main Station) and get off at Xiangshan Station (the last stop). Exit from Exit 2 and walk for about 5 minutes. You'll see signs along the way. Even the path leading to the trail is slightly uphill.
Along the way, there are drinks for sale. We bought rose tea, which is unsweetened and has a slightly tangy taste—quite delicious.
