#Grand Hyatt Taipei #Piaoliang Cantonese Seafood Restaurant
I've eaten at Piaoliang twice in a row and was very satisfied with the food.
I took advantage of the Nine-Grid event and visited for my third time this year 🥳
Piaoliang will be opening a new location with Michelin-recommended Harbour One from August 13th to September 2nd, collaborating on innovative Cantonese cuisine.
Unfortunately, we went a day early last night 🥹
The restaurant's entrance is striking; it was designed by internationally renowned designer Chi Yu-tang based on the concept of a "private residence"! Specializing in delicious, authentic Cantonese cuisine, Hong Kong-style dim sum, and homemade seafood dishes, prepared to order! 🤩
Last night's dishes included the Braised Golden Garlic Chicken, Crispy Matsusaka Pork with Coriander, Golden Garlic Phoenix Wings with Shrimp Paste, and Chicken Soup with Apricot Juice and White Apricot Fish Maw. Three dim sum dishes were also served: carrot cake, Snow Mountain Barbecued Pork Buns, and Golden Sand Custard Bun Pastry. ❤️
I also used a nine-square grid to redeem two lines for the beautiful signature dish, "Amber Walnut Shrimp Balls." This dish is highly recommended by my friends at the Grand Hyatt, and it truly lives up to its reputation! The incredibly thin and crispy batter is a testament to the chef's skill!
I always order the Crispy Matsusaka Pork with Coriander; it's so delicious! ❤️
The Braised Golden Garlic Chicken and Golden Garlic Phoenix Wings with Shrimp Paste, which I ordered for the first time, were both excellent. The crispy skin and juicy chicken of the Golden Garlic Chicken were especially delicious. They were absolutely delicious!
Both dishes came with fried garlic, but the Golden Garlic Phoenix Wings with Shrimp Paste had the garlic sauce! This dish was also very well seasoned, and the owner loved it!
As for the apricot juice, white apricot, and fish maw chicken soup, it wasn't as good as I expected, probably because Yunjin's fish maw and fire-eye chicken soup was so outstanding 😓
The three dim sum dishes were also above average, especially the radish cake and the Jinsha Custard Bun Pastry!
After my third visit, I still feel like there are so many dishes worth trying 🥰
