วันก่อนได้มีโอกาสไปลอง Yamazato ที่โรงแรม The Okura Prestige Taipei ร้านญี่ปุ่นระดับพรีเมียมที่หลายคนแนะนำว่าต้องลองให้ได้สักครั้ง

บรรยากาศร้านหรูมาก แต่ไม่อึดอัด ตกแต่งสไตล์ญี่ปุ่นร่วมสมัย มีทั้งโซนซูชิบาร์ เทปปันยากิ เทมปุระ แล้วก็ห้องส่วนตัวสำหรับมากันหลายคน เราเลือกนั่งโต๊ะปกติแต่ก็ยังรู้สึกได้ความเป็นส่วนตัวดี

อาหารที่ได้ลองวันนั้นเป็น คอร์สดินเนอร์ เริ่มจากซาชิมิรวม สดมาก ๆ ทุกคำรู้สึกถึงคุณภาพเลย ต่อด้วยกุ้งล็อบสเตอร์ย่าง รสหวานธรรมชาติ และวากิวที่ละลายในปากจริง ๆ สมกับเป็นไฮไลท์ของมื้อ ส่วนเทมปุระเสิร์ฟมาช้าหน่อย แป้งบางชิ้นไม่ได้กรอบมาก แต่รสโดยรวมยังโอเค

สิ่งที่ประทับใจอีกอย่างคือ บริการ พนักงานดูแลดีมาก ๆ ใส่ใจรายละเอียดเล็ก ๆ น้อย ๆ เช่น จัดเก็บของที่เราถือมาอย่างเรียบร้อย และคอยถามตลอดว่ารสชาติเป็นยังไง ต้องการปรับอะไรไหม ทำให้บรรยากาศของมื้อนี้พิเศษขึ้นไปอีก

ราคาก็สมกับคุณภาพครับ ถือว่าแพงแต่ไม่ได้รู้สึกเสียดาย เพราะวัตถุดิบดี บริการเยี่ยม และเหมาะกับการมาฉลองโอกาสพิเศษจริง ๆ

สรุปคือ ถ้าใครมองหาร้านญี่ปุ่นหรูในไทเป ที่ครบทั้งบรรยากาศ อาหาร และบริการ Yamazato คือหนึ่งในลิสต์ที่ควรมาลองสักครั้ง ✨🍣🥩

🇬🇧 My Review – Yamazato, Taipei

I finally tried Yamazato at The Okura Prestige Taipei — and honestly, it lived up to the reputation.

The setting is elegant yet not overwhelming. Japanese-contemporary design, with sections for sushi, teppanyaki, tempura, and private rooms. I sat at a regular table but still felt a sense of privacy.

I went for a dinner course menu. The sashimi was outstanding — so fresh that every bite spoke of quality. The grilled lobster was naturally sweet, and the wagyu beef was melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The tempura took a little longer to arrive, and while not the crispiest I’ve had, it was still flavorful.

Service impressed me most. Staff were attentive, handling small details like arranging my bags neatly, and frequently checking if everything was to my liking. It gave the whole dinner a premium feel.

Pricewise, it’s definitely high, but the experience — premium ingredients, attentive service, and the elegant ambiance — made it worthwhile.

Verdict: If you’re looking for fine Japanese dining in Taipei, especially for a celebration or special night, Yamazato is worth it. 🍣🥂✨
