🏞️ Located in Zhongshan District and conveniently adjacent to Yuanshan MRT Station, the Taipei Expo Park - Yuanshan Park Area has a rich history. Originally established in 1897 during the Japanese colonial period as "Yuanshan Park," Taiwan's first public park, it was transformed into a multifunctional park after serving as one of the main venues for the 2010 Taipei International Flora Exposition.
The park retains several exhibition facilities from the Flora Expo era, such as the Pavilion of Aroma (formerly Zhongshan Soccer Stadium), which hosts diverse exhibitions, and the eco-friendly Pavilion of New Fashion. It also features a shopping and dining mall, a weekend farmers' market, and a street performance area. The expansive flower fields and green spaces provide a perfect setting for relaxation, picnics, and family activities, attracting over 4.5 million visitors annually.
Today, it seamlessly blends history, art, and leisure, making it a vital cultural oasis and performance hub in Taipei City 🌳.
